You get a refund when

  • The plan is a GB-based (pay-per-GB / bandwidth) plan.
  • You request the refund within 14 calendar days of the purchase date.
  • You have used less than 10% of the purchased bandwidth at the moment the request is received.
  • The account is in good standing (no ToS violation, abuse or fraud investigation).
  • Payment was made with a reversible method (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, SEPA or wire).

All conditions must be met. Refunds are issued for the full purchase amount to the original payment method.

Not refundable

  • Unlimited plans (Unlimited Residential, Unlimited ISP and any unmetered or port-based plan). Non-refundable, including unused days.
  • Dedicated ISP / dedicated IP allocations once the IPs have been provisioned to your account.
  • All cryptocurrency payments. Blockchain settlement is irreversible, so crypto sales are final.
  • Requests made after the 14-day window has closed.
  • Plans where 10% or more of the bandwidth has been consumed.
  • Custom, enterprise or negotiated contracts with their own written terms.
  • Accounts terminated for abuse, fraud, sanctions breaches or Terms of Service violations.

The legal detail

  • Usage measurement: the bandwidth counter in your Rainproxy dashboard is the authoritative record of consumption for the purposes of the 10% threshold.
  • Consumer withdrawal rights: where you purchase as a consumer in the EU/EEA, statutory withdrawal rights (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 6:230o Dutch Civil Code) apply. Those rights lapse once delivery of digital services begins with your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. This commercial 14-day policy is offered in addition to, and does not limit, any mandatory statutory right you may have.
  • Business customers: purchases made in the course of a trade, business or profession are governed exclusively by this policy and our Terms of Service.
  • Partial usage: refunds under this policy are issued for the full purchase amount when the usage threshold is met; we do not pro-rate partially consumed plans outside this policy.
  • Chargebacks: raising a chargeback instead of contacting support may result in immediate account suspension. Please talk to us first, we resolve eligible cases in chat.
  • Anti-abuse: we may refuse refunds where we reasonably determine the policy is being used to obtain free bandwidth on a repeat basis.
  • Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands; the English text prevails over any translation.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. Where this page and the Terms differ, the Terms prevail.
