What makes sneaker traffic different

Everything happens in a sixty-second window. Thousands of people hit the same endpoint simultaneously, the site tightens every limit it has, and the difference between a checkout and a queue position is often latency measured in tens of milliseconds. Nothing else in the proxy world is quite this unforgiving.

Which type to use

ISP proxies are the standard for checkout. Residential reputation, static addresses, datacenter speed — exactly the combination a release site rewards.

Residential works for monitoring stock and early links, where breadth matters more than speed.

Datacenter is fine only for restock monitors on sites that don't check.

How many do you need

Plan roughly one exclusive IP per task, plus a margin. Running ten tasks through three IPs looks precisely like what it is. Exclusive matters more here than almost anywhere else: a shared address that another buyer already burned on the same site takes your session down with it.

Preparation beats reaction

  • Buy IPs in the region closest to the retailer's servers
  • Test them on the site days ahead, not minutes before
  • Warm accounts on the same address they'll check out from
  • Store payment and shipping details in advance so the flow is short
  • Keep one sticky session per task from the first page to the confirmation

After the drop

Review which IPs got through and which were challenged, and retire the ones that were flagged. IP reputation on release sites decays fast; treating them as disposable per season is normal and cheaper than losing a checkout.

The honest expectation

Good proxies remove one reason to fail. Site behaviour, bot quality, account history and plain luck decide the rest. Anyone selling you a guarantee is selling something else.
